September 29, 2018 – Valletta, Malta
I woke up early and was on my way to get a latte when I saw that the bow was open. I grabbed my camera and headed outside. It was 6:40am when I got my spot at the very front of the bow. I was amazed at how beautiful the sail-in was.
I had signed up for a private tour and we met at 8:45am and met our guide at 9am. Bridgette, our guide, was very good. She took us all over the island. She told us a lot about the history of the island. She pointed out places where Games of Thrones was filmed.
We walked through many towns and saw many churches. We took a boat ride through the Blue Grotto. We didn’t stop for lunch but took a short break for gelato. We got back at 4:30pm. It was a long but very comprehensive tour.
Tomorrow, we sail out at 5:30am to Mgarr on the Maltese island of Gozo.
