Europe 2018 -Final Thoughts

Summary – Europe in 53 days
On this trip I travelled on a ship, 3 boats, and 7 trains. Also, I stayed at 5 hotels and visited 13 countries.
The only thing I wouldn’t do again is to schedule a trip with so few days of rest. On the 24 day cruise I had 4 days and then 2 days in Bern. The rest of the trip had me going every day.
I learned that I can easily stay in hotels and eat dinner on my own. Other than Paris, I never felt uncomfortable. I also learned that I really missed my new community. Thanks to all my Stoneridge Creek friends that followed my trip.
A bigThank You to Roy for telling me about Luggage Forward. This was a life saver for me.
What is next? I decided to cancel the 2020 World Cruise. Too long! I am going to try to only do 3 and 4 week trips from now on. I am going on an OAT small boat adventure in March that sails from Barcelona to Lisbon. At the end of May, I’ll be taking a Holland America cruise from San Francisco to Alaska for 21 days. I am hoping sometime this year to visit Carol in North Carolina and see the Biltmore Estate in Asheville.
