June 13, 2019 – Canadian Inside Passage
We got to the top of the inside passage around 3pm. For the rest of the day it didn’t matter which side of the ship you were on. Mountains filled with trees were everywhere.
June 14, 2019 – Victoria, Canada
We arrived in Victoria at 10am. My excursion “Victoria’s Craft Breweries” started at 10:30pm. There were 7 of us. We first went to Lighthouse Brewery. Our guide explained how craft beer in Victoria started and the impact that this brewery had. We tried 3 beers here. We then drove to Swans Brewery and Pub. This brewery is owned and run by the University of Victoria. We went back Into the brewery and sampled 3 beers. We finished with cheeseburgers in the pub and 3 more beers. Great excursion for beer drinkers.
When I got back to the ship I took a nap for 2 hours, it was partially because of all the beer but I also have caught a cold that I is making it’s way through the ship.
Tonight I went to the Cellar Masters dinner in the Pinnacle Grill. Everything was delicious and the wine pairings were spot on.
Tomorrow we are in Port Alberni Canada.
