October 25, 2021 – Madrid
We left Toledo at 830am and got to Madrid at 9 45am. We went to the Prada. Our local guide showed up little after 10am and we entered the museum. He was great at explaining the art works that we saw. We sent 1 hour 15 minutes in the museum and then had a panoramic tour of the city narrated by the same local guide.
The guide left us when we got to a small Flamenco club. We went into the club and were entertained by a guitarist, a singer, and a Flamenco dancer. They explained the history of Flamenco and then did a demonstration. To end they invited us to join them on stage and learn a little Flamenco. Two of our group went up and did a great job.
They served us lunch after the performance complete with Sangria.
We had about an hour after lunch to roam around before heading back to Toledo.
