Posted by We got back to our apartments 25 hours after leaving our Oviedo hotel. The flights were good but the long layover in Chicago was very long.
We are both glad to be back. I got a message about my next trip – The Easter Island pretrip is cancelled due to airline cancelations. I am waiting for my flights to change from Dec 9th to Santiago to Dec 14th to Buenos Aires.

Welcome back. About the cancellation of your pre-trip leg … Probably for the best. Just before Christmas is not the best time to go to Easter Island. Seriously. I just checked with the pope. Mea culpa.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience in Spain. So sorry about Easter Island. have been looking at trips that include that…..hard to find. Someone else we met on HAL booked a cruise that stopped there but cruise was cancelled and I understand weather often keeps the ships out. Your flight there seems the best alternative….but apparently even that is hard to get. Keep us posted on your new trip. We go in January for the first time in two years. Your reports encourage me.
