September 13 to 15, 2023 – Paris

September 13, 14, 15, 2023 – Pleasanton to Paris
I flew from SFO to Heathrow and 4 hours later Heathrow to Paris arrivingonSeptember 14th at 5:30pm.   Due to slow baggage arrival and traffic, I got to the hotel finally at 7:30pm.   After getting my bags to the room, we walked toward the  Arc de Triomphe and found a place for dinner.
Back in the room, we both fell asleep quickly.
September 15, 2023 –
We had a tour of Paris excursion at 9am so we were up and out to breakfast by 730am.  The tour was interesting and we had a little time to walk around across from Notre Dame.
In the afternoon we walked to the Arc de Triomphe and went up to the top.  What a great view of Paris in every direction.
On the way back we stopped for mussels,  fries, and beer.   Way too many to eat but very delicious.
I went on a dinner and show excursion at night. The show started at 8pm and didn’t end until. 11:15pm.  We were seated with other Viking cruise couples.  We had champagne and wine and a  choice of beef or salmon for the entree.  The food was good. The show was interesting.   Most of the music was 80’s disco music.   We were allowed to take pictures only until 930pm when the main show started.
Back to hotel and asleep by midnight.
