Posted by Finally a semi-relaxing day. Our tour started this morning at 8:45am. We went to Beaujolais and learned all about beaujolais wine, wine making and sampled 4 wines.
After this we went to the town of Beaujeu where we had 30 minutes to roam.
We got back to the ship at 1pm for lunch. At 2:30pm, we left Lyon to sail to Vienne.
The sail down the Rhone was slow and peaceful. We only had one lock to go through and arrived in Vienne at 5:15pm.
After dinner, they had a local singer come aboard. She had an accordionist accompany her while she sang Edith Piaf songs. It was very good. Off to sleep at 10p .
