Posted by The apartment that we are renting has one problem. The elevator only goes to the floor above ours. (Names are changed f9r privacy reasons) Oskar’s brother, Igor, and his sister-in-law, Natasha, have difficulty on stairs. We had to take the luggage up in the elevator and slide it down the stairs. The apartment is very nice. Since the apartment has 2 floors , Oskar and I go up the spiral staircase to get to our rooms.
This morning, it took a while for everyone to get going. Oskar and I went to a boulangerie for bread and croissants.
We finally left the apartment at noon. We took the Metro to Montmarte and then the funicular up to Sacre Coeur. We saw an accordionist with a cat on top of the accordion playing music.
We walked down to the Moulin Rouge before heading back to the apartment.
