I have been here many times. I decided to wait until 11am and then walk into town to find a restaurant with Mussels, Writes, and local beer. The Sea Rocket restaurant had it all. I had a very large bowl of Mussels with fries and a double IPA. I spent an hour and a half savoring every bite. I headed back to the ship.
C and J took a ships excursion which took them out of town. They got to have a raw oyster, meet goats and baby rabbits, and taste mead wine. They said the fall foliage was beautiful.
We met up again for our dinner in the Cannaletto, the Italian specialty restaurant on the ship. It would have been Jan’s 60th wedding anniversary so we toasted her and her Bill.
Tomorrow is Sydney, Nova Scotia.
