May 18, 2025 – New York City

Since my last entry, I spent time with family in Mamaroneck,NY and Hartsdale NY. I also spent 3 days in Connecticut with a friend I’ve known since 1969. Now I am back in NYC for another Road Scholar tour – 5 Boroughs in 5 days.

I took a train and 2 subways to get to the New Yorker Hotel. It is a wonderful art dedo building. At 4pm, we had an orientation meeting and met our group leader. There are 23 in our group. There are 2 Canadian women, one Australian, and the rest of us are from all over the U.S. We had dinner together and then had the evening to ourselves. Tomorrow we go to our first borough, Queens.
