August 6, 2015   At sea on the way to Geiranger, Norway

The sea day passed quickly.   At noon, our clocks moved forward one hour.  Again at 2am, they will move another hour.  The good news is that this is the end of losing hours.

The internet was down most of the day due to technical problems.

At 10pm, there was a masquerade party in the Crow’s Nest.   There were mask making classes.   I made a mask with glitter and feathers.   The party was a lot of fun.

I got back to the cabin at 11:30 and changed my clock to 12:30am.   No sleep for the weary.

August 7, 2015   Geiranger, Norway

Woke up at 7:30am  It is a good thing that I sailed into Geiranger Fjord last year because we were all the way in when I woke up.   Sail away is at 11pm and sunset is 10:30pm so no option to watch on the way out.

No internet today because of being in the fjord.  Geiranger has free WiFi at the information center but the speed was worse than on the ship.

I took the tender in at noon.  I took the 1 1/2 hour panorama bus ride up Eagles Road and half way up the rode to Mt.Dalisnibba.  I then took the 1 1/2 hour fjord sightseeing boat that went down the fjord.   I saw a lot of waterfalls and many deserted farms.  The community maintains the old farm buildings because they feel it is an important part of their history.  It rained on and off all day. The other end of the fjord had beautiful sunny skies.

The ship was very quiet tonight.
