March 3, 2018 – Rabida Island
Today we had another hike starting at 6:30am. We hiked around Rabida Island and saw mockingbirds, flycatchers, Galapagos doves, and oyster catchers. Juan explained that the island had flamingos and land iguanas until the 1990’s when due to an El Nino the animals died or deserted the island.
We got back to the ship for 8am breakfast. Juan said afternoon snorkeling would be better than the morning snorkeling. Three people went out at 9:30am but the rest of us decided to wait until the afternoon.
During lunch the ship moved to a new location. Most of us went snorkeling here and saw more sea turtles and fish.

Love your pics. Thanks so much for your blog!
