June 7, 2019 – Kodiak
Another sunny day with a high of 73°. Sunrise was at 5:13am while sunset will be at 11:07pm.
The ship docked shortly before 11am. I went on a Wildlife Sightseeing Cruise. There were 15 of us on the boat. We got to see otters, sea lions, puffins and humpback whales. I stood in the bow of the boat where it was windy and cool. It also gave me first look at many of the animals we saw.
Many people stayed downtown after the excursion. I didn’t because I had been here before. It is a cute little town. There were free shuttles to downtown. There was a special Walmart courtesy bus for those who needed to go to Walmart.
Tomorrow is a sea day. I will not be posting.
