January 1, 2020 – Pasadena CA
I got up at 4:30am and had breakfast and many cups of coffee. The bus left the hotel at 6:15am. We were parked in Pasadena by 7am. The parade was scheduled to start at 8am but our seats were 3 miles from the start so they weren’t expected to get to us until 9am. It was 44 degrees out. Many stayed on the bus until 8:45am but I got off earlier to walk around. The parade was really good. It was exactly 2 hours long (for TV). The only disappointment was that many of the bands didn’t play when in front of us.
My pictures aren’t the best due to shadows and trees.
We had the afternoon off. Some people had tickets for the game. A friend and I went to the Broad Museum. I really enjoyed that museum.
Dinner again at the hotel with a singer/guitarist during the meal.
Once again to bed early.
