I am getting ready for my next trip and thought I’d give you a heads up. I’ll be flying out of SFO on February 8, 2020 to Bergen, Norway. I am going on my first Vantage Travel tour. I’ll be sailing on the Hurtigruten line with 18 other Vantage travelers, our group leader, and whoever else is on the 640+ person ship. The reason for this trip is to see the Northern Lights. I’m not sure if I can get good photos but I’ll try. I know from previous trips to Norway that WiFi is sketchy, at best, above the Arctic Circle so you may not hear from me every day. We will sail from Bergen to Kirkenes before turning around to head back to Bergen.
I am in the process of packing warm clothes and trying to stay within the one bag limit. I may wear half my clothes on the flights there and back.

Followed your blog for a few yrs now. Shocked to see your next adventure will be the same as mine. Seeing the aurora has long been on my bucket list. I considered this cruise w/ Vantage; but instead booked directly thru Hurtigruten. I leave the 13th for a departure on Polarlys on the 17th. My first time on a “working ship”. Hope we luck out w/ the lights.

Hi Elsie! Hope you have a great time. We pretty much only travel with Vantage now. We have never been disappointed. We are going to Patagonia with Vantage the end of this month. Then we are contemplating going to Greece with them in October. We went to Croatia with Vantage Sept 2018. Great trip and fabulous tour director. Hope you enjoy your trip. Look forward to reading your blog!
