Today was very busy.
First we went to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. It contains the mummies of many of Egypt’s Kings. We weren’t allowed to talked pictures of them. The Museum also had an exhibit on the history of Egypt.
Next we went to the church which hid Joseph, Mary, and Jesus for three months when they fled to Egypt.
After lunch, we went to the Citadel which houses the main Mosque for Cairo. It was interesting to learn about the Muslim service.
Back to the hotel for dinner, packing, and hopefully sleep before our 3:30am departure for Luxor.

Hi Else
You are the BEST travel blogger! Thanks for taking the time to keep us posted. Wishing you a continued safe and fun trip!
How many in your group? Are there a lot of other tourists around, or pretty sparse? I won’t guess that your guides and the Egyptians you meet are glad to see you (and your dollars…)

I am in a group of 21 that a friend of mine organized. We have 29 in our bus group. It is much more crowded than I expected with other tour groups.
