April 2, 2022 – Luxor

I woke up at 2:30am for our 330am departure to the airport. I had slept 2 hours.
The flight was only an hour. It took longer to check-in and go through security,
We were on the ship by 8:30am. I went to my room, unpacked, and then set off exploring the ship. We had lunch at noon. They showed a film about the Valley of the Kings but I slept through much of it. I finally went to my cabin to nap.
At 5pm we left to go to the Luxor Temple. We spent 1 1/2 hours there learning about how it was built and walking part of the Avenue of Sphinxes.
We have been told that tomorrow we will leave at 630am to go to the Valley of Kings. This is so we will be back on board before the temperature hits 105F. We were all told to expect to drink 3 bottles of water while out.

I went to sleep at 9pm.
