April 9, 2022 – Luxor to Cairo to Alexandria

We had to leave the ship by 7:30am. We went to the airport and got checked in. We flew to Cairo. We had to wait a while at the airport for the police to give us an escort car for the drive to Alexandria. We stopped for lunch on the way. We got to Alexandria at 5pm. We are staying at the Four Seasons and our rooms are very nice. We each have a balcony with the view of the Mediterranean.
