Posted by I wasn’t planning on traveling again until October but Vantage Travel had a last minute deal I couldn’t refuse.
On June 28th, I’ll fly to Reykjavik, Iceland. I’ll be in Reykjavik for 4 days and then board the Ocean Explorer. We will sail to Oslo, Norway with stops along the way including the Faroe, Orkney, and Shetland Islands.

Enjoy! I did a similar “ adventure cruise” with Hurtigruten a few years ago…Almost identical ports, but in reverse. It was fun! Hiking, trips in zodiacs, etc. it was very different from the typical Hurtigruten coastal cruise. That’s me on the left…got a touch of hypothermia on the Faroes hike so am wrapped up.

Sounds wonderful! And since you’ve recently had COVID, you won’t have to worry about that. Oslo is a great city and will be very much alive until all hours with so much daylight.
