July 6, 2022 – Torshavn, Faroe Islands

We arrived to Torshavn at 7am. It is the capital of the Faroe Islands. We will be here for 1 1/2 days.
Today we took buses to the city center and then walked through the old city. Many houses have grass on the roof. It as cloudy and misty out. We also spent some time at the National Museum. It had whale skeletons, old fishing ship, and lots of exhibits about the geolog and wildlife on the islands.
We were back by noon for lunch. I didn’t go back into town after eating. I just lazed around. Just before dinner, I went to Texas Hold’em training class. I didn’t learn anything that I didn’t know before.
After dinner, we saw a performance by the Faroe Chain Dancers. They’ll dressed in Faroese traditional outfits.
