Thanks for the Birthday wishes!

The ship docked at Stavanger, Norway at 7am. Normally, the immigration people come on and by 8am we are cleared to get off. Today, we weren’t cleared until 10am. We were told they insisted on a complete inspection of the ship.
Our tours started an hour late. We walked thorough College Street which is filled with colorfully painted shops and restaurants. This was followed by a bus tour of the area just outside Stavanger. We stopped at the three swords monument that symbolizes peace, unity, and freedom. Back in Stavanger we walked through the old Town where the house are 150 to 200 years old. Our final stop was the Petroleum Museum. I skipped the museum and walked back to the ship.
Only one more covid case reported today. We have 2 more full days on the ship and then 2 days in Oslo at a hotel. I am hoping that the first of my dining friends gets released today so that we have 3 at dinner. It has been nice having all 3 meals with George, the only other healthy member of my dining group, but a full group is more fun.
