October 28, 2022 – Boston

After breakfast we got divided into 3 groups for our bus tours today and tomorrow. At 9am my group boarded our bus for a 4 hour tour of Boston. We rode to Cambridge passing the MIT campus before stopping at Harvard. We walked to the Harvard Yard where we were told the history of the University. It is a beautiful campus filled with brick buildings.
Back on the bus we were driven around the city to see the historical highlights. We walked in the North End to see Paul Revere’s house. Next we walked toward the Old North Church where the “one if by land, two if by sea” lights were hung.
We got back to the hotel around 1pm. I went to a nearby Irish Pub for lunch where I had fish and chips with a pint of beer.
I walked back to the hotel and started packing. Tomorrow, our bags need to be out at 7:30am. We are going to Concord and Lexington before heading to the ship at 3pm.
I’m looking forward to getting on board the Ocean Explorer again.
