September 16, 2023 – Paris

Since we were all jet lagged, we slept in and went to breakfast at 930am. 
The others wanted to go to the Invalides to visit the Army museums.  They are the best WWI and WWII museums in Europe. Since I had been there on a prior trip,  I decided to hike to Parc Monceau and take care of a personal matter.  That accomplished, I headed back toward the hotel.  I was hot and thirsty so I stopped at the Café where we had mussels yesterday. First I ordered a bottle of water. That went down quickly.  Refreshed, I ordered falafel and a beer for Iunch. The Café is Lebanese and the falafel  was excellent.
I got back to the hotel and after a quick shower, I started repacking my bags. They are taking our bags at 6am tomorrow.  They go by truck while we take the TGV
Tonight we are doing a Paris at Night tour.  We go out at 9pm and get back at midnight.  I’ll blog about that tomorrow so this is all for now.
