Today is our last port day until we land in Florida. We were already docked in Tenerife when I woke up at 6am. I took an excursion called Gardens of the Valley. We went to three different gardens on the island. The first had plants from all over the world. The second garden had an extensive orchid section. The last garden was palm trees from all over the world. I really enjoyed this excursion. The variety of plants was amazing. The weather was perfect and I got to do a lot of walking.
We left port at 730pm. The sea was rough overnight. Walking in a straight line is impossible.
I’ve included my favorite garden pictures.

Beautiful pictures of the gardens! Hope the rest of the trip is smooth!

Given your description of the gardens and the fabulous pictures you shared on this blog, I hope the brief stop in Tenerife soothes the frustration of having a big chunk of your planned itinerary scrapped due to stormy weather. May the rest of your voyage back across “the pond” be smooth and enjoyable. Safe travels home, Elsie.

Hi Elsie,
Rotten luck with the weather on this cruise! Good news is that your captain 🧑✈️ has the good sense to keep y’all safe rather than on schedule. I’ll bet there is lots of disappointment on your ship. The photos from Tenerif are spectacular. Stay well! Karen Kolba Pismo Beacg
