April 3, 2024 – Pleasanton to Ft Lauderdale

Another trip has started.  I left my apartment at 4:30am.  A taxi took me to Oakland Airport for my flight to Denver. I am now sitting in Denver with a 2 1/2 hour wait until my flight to Ft. Lauderdale.

I’ll be staying in Ft. Lauderdale for two nights and board my ship on Friday.   I’m traveling solo for the cruise portion of the trip.The first 6 days are sea days. First port is Ponte Delgada, Azores on April 12.  I probably won’t blog until we get there unless something fun happens on the ship.

Just got a text that my flight is delayed 3 more hours. Bah.  Humbug.  Now I won’t get to Ft Lauderdale until 9 or 10pm.
