Our last two sea days went by quickly.  My bridge partner, Steve, and I have been having fun playing Duplicate Bridge every sea day. We have been getting better each day.   My gambling buddy, Jordan, and I have been playing Three Card poker every night.  The three of us get together for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. I’m very glad that I met them both.
Today we docked at Cadiz. I took an excursion called “White Villages & Countryside “.  We started out at 9am. We  drove through Cadiz followed by a 45 minutes drive to Verer de la Frontera. The countryside was very interesting with rolling green fields, solar panel farms, and lots of cows. Verer is a beautiful, hilly city filled with white buildings. We walked through the town with our guide for an hour.  Back on the bus we drove past the Trafalgar lighthouse while our guide told the story of the battle at Trafalgar. We got to Conil de la Frontera at noon and had a free hour to wander and/or eat lunch.  I found a nice outdoor restaurant and had “tortillas de camerones” (shrimp fritters) and sangria.  It was delicious.  After, the bus headed back to Cadiz and I was back on the Ms Oosterdam at 2pm.
Tonight I went to a special Cellar Master Italian dinner.  It was 5 courses with matching wines.  Everything was delicious.  After dinner, I went to the show.  It was a classcal trip, violin, cello, and piano.  They were excellent.
