I went to breakfast at 830am and Jan and Carolyn came down at 9am. The picture is the view from the breakfast room. At 11am, we decided to walk to the ship. It was a beautiful sunny day with the temperature in the 60’s F.
J and C (as they will becalled from now on) stopped to rest before we bot to the ship but I kept going. It was a quick embarkation and we could get on the ship immediately. I went up to the Lido to wait for J and C to arrive. I got on line to combine our reservations for the specialty restaurants. After I got my sushi lunch and a bratwurst. As I was eating , J and C arrived. After lunch we split up and they walked around the ship to discover where everything was.
We got back together at 5pm for a cocktail and then at 7pm watched the ship leave Montreal. We have fixed dinner at 730pm. We have a table looking out the back of the ship. It was wonderful.
Tired J and C headed off to bed while I headed to the casino.

Aloha Elsie, I’m Carol’s friend who lives in Hawaii. While at a hotel in Portland just this last Thursday, I met two lovely sisters from Oregon going on the same cruise as you. They were flying out to Toronto the next morning. Small world. I wish I could remember their names, but I told them about you. Enjoy your trip and I’ll be following it. Amy
