October 6, 2024 – Quebec City

Woke up in Quebec City. We will be here 2 days. We are docked in the industrial port so they are providing a bus to the port exit to the city. We headed out at 10am. The Quebec Marathon was being run so many streets were blocked for runners. We wandered around the lower city which is the old city. It was very picturesque with many restaurants and shops. We stopped for a coffee break at a shop that had massive moose antlers on the wall. At the end of our walk we saw 2 different large pink characters on buildings. No idea what they are about but they were cute.
We got back to the ship about 1:45pm and had lunch. We had already walked over 3 miles and decided to rest. J and C went to the hot tub while I read and napped.
After dinner we went to see a Comedian in the Main Stage. He was funny most of the time.
Tomorrow, rain is expected all day. J and C are staying on board. I’ll be going into the city again.
