My flight to Seattle was at 7am so I left Stoneridge Creek at 430am to drive to Oakland Airport. Traffic was non-existent. The flight was uneventful and landed 20 minutes early. I had to trek all over SeaTac Airport to drop off my bag and then to find the bus to the ship. I arrived at Pier 91 at 1045am. I got to the priority boarding area and found Steve already there. They let us board at 11am and the cabins were ready at 1145am. After a quick lunch, we wandered around the ship until sailaway at 3pm. We noticed people wearing a group ID. After dinner we saw hundreds of the group coming out of the main stage area. We have found out that it is a Christian Bible Study group of 900 people. There is also a number of Mormon families. The bars and casino are not as crowded as on other cruises I’ve done.
I haven’t done a 7 day cruise in 14 years. Probably won’t do again unless like this cruise, the casino makes me a reduced rate offer.
We ate dinner at the Pinnacle Grill and it was great as usual. Back to the dining room tomorrow.
Steve and I are looking at Japan cruises in 2026. More info after we talk to the cruise consultant.
Tomorrow is a sea day. Pictures are of The Galary Bar which is favorite.

At least the bars and the casino should be less crowded!
